Saturday Rundown #19
Let me be vulnerable...this year has been tough on me physically. Walking pneumonia to start off 2019. The flu at the beginning of March. As of writing this, I am on the backside of battling shingles for the first time. As shooting pains were recently occurring due to shingles, with tears in my eyes, I asked God to take away the pain followed up with why all the sickness. I even started new vitamins and a pro-biotic in January I thought would be so helpful. While praying, God gently nudged me to change my prayer from why the sicknesses and instead invited me to ask if he would just walk with me and show me what relying on him looks and feels like. Maybe you understand. Just a thought...sometimes God wants us to lean into the pain and learn instead of begging him to remove whatever it is that feels too big. After all, his shoulders are a lot stronger to carry any weight than mine ever will be. He knows what you and I need.
