Saturday Rundown #3
I started my 2019 strategic plan two months ago and put it into another gear this week. I don't know about you but I love thinking about how to make things better. Sometimes that means stopping some activities, fixing others, and starting new things. I have not narrowed down the list yet but I try to always think what will be fun and meaningful to my team. In fact, I invite them into the process at the right time for feedback. If you ever want to share what you're thinking about for 2019, I would love to hear about it.

Vision Lessons from Snow White
Many people see what could be but fewer act on it. Think Walt Disney. He saw entertainment elements long before he brought them to life or even when they were not in the mainstream. You can see and act on a vision stirring inside of you.

Regardless, time is critical and if leaders are to think strategically, it must become a priority. After all, the future of your organization is at stake.

Creating Magic with the Guest Experience Cycle
One challenge as a leader can be finding and hiring good people. The normal expectations you consider when looking for the right team member might be missing a few factors. Consider people who challenge assumptions and the "that's how we do it here" mentality in order to get you the best positive result. Don't forget that hiring the best people gives your guests the best opportunity to have a remarkable experience.
