My Library Building Tool

The picture above is a screenshot from my computer.  The program is called Delicious Library.  I use it to log in all my books in my library (still working on getting all my books logged in).

For leaders who read, this will be a tool that will save you time and bring organization to your world.

I know many of you have a lot of books in your home or office (maybe even in your car).

Do you know what books you have?  What if you loan a book to someone?  Do you remember who borrowed what book and when?

Worry no more.  This easy-to-use software takes care of everything.  If you are looking for an affordable tool ($39.95) that will do more than you can imagine for your books, music, and many other products, look no more.

You can pick this product up in your local Apple store, on Amazon, or on the site of Delicious Library.

Enjoy.

Give Your Opinion Here

Imagine…

sitting down with a young influencer / leader.

If he / she asked you:

What are the TOP five books I should read?

What would you say to that young person?

Say it here.  Your opinion matters.

Favorite Quotes From The Shack

the-shack

I read The Shack last year.  I recently thumbed through my Moleskin that I carry with me and found my favorite quotes from the book.

  • Most of our hurts come through relationships so will our healing.
  • Nothing makes us so lonely as our secrets.
  • Learn to live loved.
  • Humanity demanded independence and now we’re mad at the One who granted it to us.
  • Jesus says to people, “I will travel any road to find you.”
  • When people want what they think is right, then need a stern God. When they need forgiveness, they run to Jesus.
  • For you to know or not, has nothing at all to do with whether I (Holy Spirit) am actually here or not.
  • I don’t want to be the first among a list of values; I want to be at the center.
  • Tears are sometimes the best words the heart can speak.
  • Forgiveness is not about forgetting; it is about letting go of another person’s throat.
  • Your choices are not stronger than my purposes.
  • Many folks try to grasp some sense of who I (God) am by taking the best version of themselves, projecting that to the nth degree, factoring in all the goodness they can perceive, and then call that God. And while it may seem like a noble effort, the truth is that it fails pitifully short of who I really am. I’m not merely the best version of you that you can think of. I am far more than that, above and beyond all that you can ask or think.
