This kid. As a Dad, there are many days I don’t do the parent thing well. I’m grateful for what God is doing in and through her life. I pray she embraces leadership moments by showing courage, caring and cheering for others, remaining in a seat of humility when tempted to stand for others to see you, inviting others to help provide feedback and wisdom, and listening to God and doing what he says.
Doughnuts w/Dad took a funny turn today when my son told me he often “takes” money from some of the guys in his class. I inquired. He said it’s a card game called poker his friends taught him. He told me not to worry because it isn’t real money. He added that he could teach me😂
@lancemartin and I started out as best friends in college. Nothing has changed. Fun to have our families together for a few days.
I love creeks, streams, and waterfalls. Grateful to visit this one today. There’s something about the sound. Do you like them too?
My parents gave me this years ago. As I look at it today, I’m reminded of what Jesus took on himself because I just could not.
