Dolphins, Observations, Questions

I love to watch dolphins.  They are simply incredible creatures.  They have a friendly appearance and fun personality.

I was reading a little devotional to my 4-year old daughter the other night.  The subject was on dolphins and the relationship they have towards one another.  So, my research mind started to go…and here is what I learned from those marine mammals:

Observations:

1 – They care for each other by living in community.

2 – If one is hurt, they will push that dolphin to the surface so they can breathe.

3 – If one is injured, the other dolphins will provide appropriate care.

Questions:

1 – Do I really care for the deep things in the lives of people?

2 – Am I willing to give a person all I’ve got to be able to help them make it and thrive?

3 – If someone is injured, would I provide care until they were well?
