Jones, not Mr. Jones per his request, appears nomadic by nature. Where does he live? How does he know what he knows? Timely in appearance. Gentle in presentation. Caring in conversation. Challenging in questions. He magnifies how the small pieces of life compose the bigger picture.

Encountering a number of characters along the way, Jones helps these sojourners to understand that when you need most to accomplish something great in life, you are only lacking an idea (perspective). When you decide to embrace a healthy perspective you give yourself new life, and in so doing your single action provides impact on others that has far-reaching consequences.

The different characters wooed me into their despair, emotions, and joyful outcomes. I could see myself inside the story. I recall moments in my past when perspective rescued me. I also recall moments when I wish perspective would have come knocking or I would have answered. The thread of hope was woven throughout this story.

The climax of the story is found after Jones “disappears.” “Finding” his briefcase and using its unlikely contents, he now wants those that received perspective to become distributors. Indeed, Jones provided me the broader view. After all he says, “(perspective) it allows them to regroup, take a breath, and begin their lives again.” Indeed, “whatever you focus upon, increases.” Read this book. Embrace perspective. Start living again!
