Millennials & Their Families

Have you ever stopped to look at the current family situations the Millennial Generation faces?

The family experience has significantly shifted and inflicted pain, confusion, frustration, and destruction in American families today, namely children.

Consider these five areas:

Divorce – about 60% will live in single-parent homes.
Cohabitation – 69% of teens said they approve of couples living together prior to marriage.  49% of regular church attendees agree.3.3
Fatherlessness – 1/3 of children will live in a home without their biological father.  this could also include being emotionally and spiritually absent.
Time - 46% of high school students wnt more time spent as a family compared to 27% who wanted more money and 14% wishing for a bigger house.
Family Violence – 3.3-10 million children are exposed to family violence.  this exposure contributes to their depression, anxiety, suicide, drug and alcohol addictions.
