eHarmony & Amazon Meet the Church

OK…I have an idea.  I have actually unpacked this many times.  Check it out:

eHarmony seeks to match one person with another based on compatibility.  Their success is making healthy lasting matches.

Amazon presents a wide-range of products to consumers.  A large part of success is their reviews placed by consumers.

What if we created a website to help people find a compatible church in their area and included a platform for guests, regular attenders, and the church staff to place reviews on the site?

So, I could go to a site, type in what I’m looking for and several church options pop up with reviews.

OR

I could go to the same site and place a review on my church or a church I recently visited.

I think it’s a great idea, but would be a moderate bear to implement. What seems so simple on the surface is often a huge amount of code to implement. And I cringe at the thought of the comments that might make it onto ours, yours of Newspring’s profile from people like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S99oKuZrxcI
