Shelf Life

I reached into my refrigerator yesterday and the milk had runs its course, according to the date imprinted on the carton.  My responsibility is to throw it out because if I continue to use it there will be negative repercussions.

(Almost) Everything has a shelf life.  The longer I serve in churches (including mine) the more I see leadership (and people in general) holding on to things (projects and even people) that need to be let go.

What if many churches discarded those things that have run their course?  What if we could be part of momentum shift to produce healthier churches?  In your church what is new, improved and improving?  Maybe a small tweak could change everything.  Perhaps, an overhaul is what you need.
