Generational Names

Did you know the Millennial Generation has other names often used when speaking about them?

Here they are:
P-Gen (they produce/customize so much of their life)
Gen Y (born after the Gen Xers)
Millennials (the new millennium occurred in their life and most of this generation were born before we entered a new century)
Me Gen (it’s always about me)
We Gen (interested in doing things together)
Screenagers (constantly in front of some screen)
Net Gen (internet-related)
iGen (from the iPOD)
Googlies (Google Generation)
Echo Boomers (the boom in Millennial births echoed that of the Boomers)
Technology Kids (everything they use is technology-related)

I thought it was interesting to note all the “labels” and what they mean. Perhaps I will unpack these individually in future blogs.
