I want to share Matt Chandler’s thoughts with you from a recent Catalystspace post:
Is the goal of “ministry” to grow big churches, write popular blogs, author best-selling books, have lots of people subscribe to your podcast, or speak on big platforms? Or, is the goal of “ministry” to simply pursue Jesus? May we transparently love our Jesus and obey Him everyday.
I have found myself wanting the popular stuff. Have you? May we be consumed with loving and obeying Jesus. He will take care of the rest. That is what He promises and He don’t (southern word here) lie!
